Commodity Focus & Rationale

StanAurum's operations are uniquely positioned to explore the two distinct geological terrains and mineral suites within the project's scope. This diversity not only expands the potential for a broader range of mineral discoveries but also opens up possibilities for future strategic spin-offs, enhancing the overall investment proposition. The project's granites and contact rocks are home to a wealth of minerals, including tin, tungsten, molybdenite, rare earths, and industrial clays. This diverse mineralisation presents numerous opportunities for extraction and commercial exploitation, contributing to the project's potential profitability. The sedimentary rocks within the project area host a different suite of valuable minerals, including gold, base metals, and rare earths. This further enhances the project's mineral diversity and provides additional avenues for revenue generation. The price of tin has seen a dramatic increase due to a global shortfall in supply coupled with soaring demand, particularly from the electric vehicle (EV), telecommunications, and micro hybrid vehicle markets. With supply struggling to keep pace with the burgeoning demand, the value of StanAurum's tin resources is expected to escalate, offering the potential for substantial returns on investment.

Gold & Base Metal Zone

  • The project area hosts high-grade gold in stockworks, boasting similar style of geology to the Fosterville Mine, known for its impressive gold yield of 9 million ounces.
  • The site is home to four historic gold mines, with past assay grades ranging from 30 to 3,000 grams per tonne of gold and bulk sample recoveries of up to 24 ounces of gold and 7.2 ounces of silver per tonne.
  • Early exploration is underway to unlock the gold potential of various prospects, including Pikedale Reef and Glenelg.
  • Beside hard rock, we are exploring for near-surface colluvial gold deposits for straightforward, cost-effective exploitation.
  • Numerous geophysical anomalies, associated with northeast-trending fault zones and northwest-trending altered and mineralised structural zones, are scheduled for testing. These areas hold potential for joint ventures with major industry players.
  • The site remains highly underexplored, boasting potential for gold, base metals, and rare earths over a strike length of 50 kilometers.
  • The area features numerous alluvial gold creeks, with the source rocks still unidentified, presenting an exciting opportunity for further exploration.
  • There is potential for gold in granite mineralisation, similar to the Timbarra Gold Deposit, which could substantially augment the overall tenements gold yield.
